New Raid Formation Policy Change

A Few New Rules

Raid Formation
Starting now, the raid formation policy has changed. We need to be more efficient with our time and as such will only have 30 minute raid formation times.
This means, if a raid is scheduled at 6:00pm, invites for website sign-ups start at 6:00pm. You have 15 minutes to join the raid if you signed up.
Signing up gives you precedence and 1DKP. At 6:15, invites open up to the guild. You can still join if you signed up as long as there is space, but you will lose your 1 DKP if you do not join the raid (regardless of whether there was space). First pull will be at 6:30 in this scenario. If you are not inside the instance waiting for the pull, you will not receive your 2 DKP for being on time. You can earn 3 DKP for every raid you run just by signing up and being on time.

Ventrilo
I understand that people want to chat and have a good time on ventrilo, but remember that vent is a tool for information exchange during combat. When people are talking about non-essential stuff during a boss fight, that makes it very easy to not hear something crucial to the raid. As such, we will be instituting a new policy.

If you are caught talking about something non-essential during a boss fight regardless of your rank:
First Offense: Warning
Second Offense: -5 DKP
Third Offense: Either global muting on Vent or Removal from the raid, whichever the raid leader deems more appropriate.

We don't do this to be mean, we do this because we want to see everyone walk away with new loot and a small repair bill. There are lots of times to joke and have fun on vent, but when you're in a raid instance channel and fighting a boss, that is not one of them.
